I see myself, without a doubt, carrying one of those old wooden trunks, an ancestor of today’s cameras, roaming the wilderness like the plein-air painters of Barbizon, in search of light and shadow, of color, but also wandering along the outskirts of small towns, as far away from people as possible, in order to steal something from that fleeting moment of my being there.
